Game and Construction sets
Inventiveness and brain training for the entire family from toddler to Gramps
Games and construction sets provide both children and adults with fun and brain training. Get family and friends together for an evening of fun and games! All games are produced without wastage or emissions.
Word block
Rotatable discs have all the alphabets of chosen language. Number of each alphabet is same as frequency in normal words (means that those alphabets which are not so common are fewer in discs).
By rotating discs is possible to construct hudreds of words and competitions could be arranged in primaryschools or even in preschools. Best "wordmakers" can compete against other schools or classes. Competitions can be arranged also in internet. Word blocks are suitable also to practise co-operation or teamwork. Each language needs own version of this product.
Rino
3D versions of the well-known tic-tac-toe game, in which groups of pieces can be turned and moved in relation to each other. Four pieces in a row vertically, horizontally, inwards or at a 45 degree angle. Room for concentrated thought and endless surprises, for ages 2 to 100.
The Bear Game
This guessing game is based upon a sliding bar: the farmer to the right makes a choice by moving the bar, and the bear to the left tries to guess what it was. The bear presses one of the four alternatives available: if the guess was correct, the farmer topples over, if it was wrong, the bear goes head over heel. The combatants take turns at each end and keep track of the score using the counter. The game was inspired by a meeting between Mihail Gorbatšov and Vytautas Landsbergis in 1988. Kari Suomalainen, a Finnish political cartoonist, drew a cartoon of the situation with Gorbatšov saying: “Wait, I’ll just take off my glove!” There was a bear’s paw in the glove.
Ferris Wheel
A combination of a toy and a construction set. Based upon the use of a flexible connection pin. Excellent as a tool for learning group work and social skills. Height when assembled: approx. 50cm. A construction set made of massive wood for group work. Excellent for adults as well.
Circus Merry-Go-Round
A construction toy with approx. 150 parts. The finished structure is a merry-go-round that can be rotated, and with seats that move vertically as well. Half of the material is MDF, half aircraft plywood. A typical example of network production.
Pyramid game
A competitive game, ideally for several players, requiring skill, concentration and patience. The game is played by tilting the game board. The ball starts from a pit in the low part of the board. First you have to make your way through the jungle by looking for openings that are big enough for the ball to go through. When the ball is at the foot of the pyramid, the player still has to get it to the top of the pyramid – and that is a hard task. The first player to reach the top and drop the ball through the centre hole is the winner. The ball can be retrieved through holes at the rim of the gameboard. The game has a feature adding to its difficulty: pins can be placed at distances that either do or do not allow the ball to pass through, and at the beginning of a new game the pyramid can be turned into another position using the top knob. At least two games and two players.
Climate impact
1. When the biomass of the material is used up in its entirety, nothing is released back into the atmosphere, thus it does not cause any emissions.
2. The carbon sink effect of forests increases significantly, when biomass can be created from fast-growing wood species. There is no shortage of raw material.
3. Three-dimensionality requires bigger packages, so production must be extensive.
4. Opposition against climate change is a global theme. The KID 3D system does not have any competitors, and the climate theme has an exceptionally strong novelty and topicality value.
5. KID 3D is a basic product for private homes and kindergartens.
6. Besides the production and marketing system it has a global cohort of end users, children between 3 and 13 years, that make up some 10 per cent of the population of the industrialised world – that’s 400–500 million children.
7. KID3D offers exceptional opportunities in sub-licensing, production and marketing.
8. Finnish experts have studied the production technology for three years. All systems share the same basic structure: they consist of hollow elements made of biocomposite.
